In 1922, Jacques Vincent, mayor of Fuiss\u00e9, along with other vintners, advocated for the uniqueness of the terroirs which surround the villages of Pouilly and Fuiss\u00e9, culminating in the creation of the (eponymous) appellation.<\/p>\n

In 1862, Claude Bulland purchases the Ch\u00e2teau de Fuiss\u00e9. He brought back a medal from the universal exhibition of 1876 in Paris, establishing the domain\u2019s reputation.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n
