The Wines of the Château
The Château de Fuissé is located in the heart of the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy. The Vincent family, proprietors since 1862, produces wines of exceptional quality, enhanced by the key location of its 100 acres of vineyards.

Since 1985, we produce a range of wines which complements those of the Château de Fuissé. These wines, sourced from the best parcels, some of which are owned by other family members, are vinified with the same strict standards and equal passion as those of the Château. Also produced under the Famille VINCENT signature are appellation wines of the Mâconnais and Cru Beaujolais, in addition to a Crémant de Bourgogne.
Pouilly-Fuissé
“Marie-Antoinette”
This wine is named for Marie-Antoinette Vincent as a homage to our grandmother. Vinified from purchased fruit and must grow in predominantly calcareous soils, we favor tank vinification in order to enhance the elegance of delicate floral notes.

“Famille VINCENT”
This southern Burgundy wine shows excellent maturity, underlined by a lovely mineral freshness. As such, we favor vinification in tanks. Congenial, this wine is best enjoyed around a seafood platter or with goat cheese from the Mâconnais.

This wine is produced from selected parcels from the Mâcon region. Its calcareous clay soils situated in higher elevations afford it minerality and freshness.

This effervescent wine, vinified in the traditional method, develops a constant lace of mousse with fine bubbles, with freshness and structure on the palate. This is a great classic for all festive occasions.

Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru « Le Clos »
Monopole
"Le Clos" Château Fuissé monopole (6.7 acres) is a legendary parcel which surrounds the Château. It owes its geological uniqueness to its successive strata of calcareous clay. This southeast-facing parcel’s average vine age is over 50 years.

Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru « Le Clos »
Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru « Les Brulés »
This 1er Cru, "Les Brulés" (1.75 acres) is located on a south-facing slope overlooking the Château. Bathed in sunlight, this parcel is composed of marls which marry freshness to richness, conveying to Chardonnay grown in southern Burgundy the full expression of its generosity. "Les Brulés" is now classified as a 1er Cru.

Pouilly-Fuissé « Les Combettes »
"Les Combettes" (3.21 Acres) is a small vale located on the far south of the « Côte de Fuissé » (Fuissé hillside). The soils are extremely stony and calcareous therefore drain well, providing wines of much finesse and minerality, and are especially racy.

Pouilly-Fuissé « Tête de Cuvée »
Château Fuissé "Tête de Cuvée’s" origin is rooted in the geological diversity of its terroir. Antoine Vincent’s personal touch reveals the greatness of this wine which is an assembly (a blending) of many parcels situated in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.

Saint-Véran
The old growers sometimes said the Saint-Véran emulated the wines of Pouilly-Fuissé, illustrating the geographical closeness with its great neighbor. This very generous wine with savory notes is revealed through its calcareous clay soils, refined by vinification in tank.

Mâcon-Fuissé
This appellation remains little-known, whose vineyards juxtapose those of Pouilly-Fuissé. Being located on the upper slopes, this confers upon the wine a characteristic freshness highlighted by vinification in tank.

Situated in the same jewel box as our Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véran, our Mâcon-Villages enjoy a privileged geographic location. The minerality of the limestone rock associated with the power of the clay in the soil gives the wines incredible finesse and balance.

Situated on granitic soils with some sand, the wine combines floral notes and citrus with a nice roundness on the palate.

Juliénas
In keeping with family tradition, and situated geographically close to Pouilly-Fuissé, Château Fuissé cultivates vines within the Juliénas appellation since 2010. The granitic soils, enhanced by traditional vinification, produce wine with notes of small red fruits and delicate spices.

Morgon
“Les Charmes”
Our Morgon is made in keeping with the lineage of the ten Cru Beaujolais. The granitic soils of the plateau “Les Charmes” provides the wine with a tannic and silky structure with notes of black cherry and kirsch.
